We believe there is not a technical manual nor formula to achieve peace. Instead, Peacebuilding Hub-Net proposes to break beyond such a view where building peace must be pursued from isolated corners. Our commitment is to develop an inclusive process of social engineering where economy, urbanism, environment, arts and education, migration and inclusion will foster creative and innovative approaches to achieve more just and equitable societies.

DIRECTORA Y FUNDADORA
Mariafernanda Burgos Ariza is a political scientist with a master’s in Advanced Practice in Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution with experience in humanitarian projects, development and international cooperation. Her outstanding work has led her to design, implement and monitor projects in her native Colombia, as well as in Cameroon, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Syria and Switzerland.
As a Rotary Peacefellow at the University of Bradford, her experience in different geographical and cultural contexts has taught her that peacebuilding is an interdisciplinary task in which different sectors of society must be involved. For this reason, and as IEP Peace Ambassador, Mariafernanda has sought to promote peace from diverse sectors, this time from Peacebuilding Hub Net, an interdisciplinary and plural platform in search of a more just, inclusive and peaceful society.
